Around the Alice...

Alice Springs has some amazing people who have been living in these parts for thousands of years. The Aboriginal people here produce some amazing artwork, which you can purchase in the shops or sometimes they sell direct to the public on the lawns of the Todd Mall...

Alice Springs is also the hometown of my friend Andrew Langford who was featured in a recent blog. You can see him perform with the incredible sounds of the Didgeridoo at the 'Sounds of Starlight Theatre', in the Todd mall...

On the first of July, the people celebrate Territory Day with lots of fireworks! They really know how to put on a show...

When you travel a little way outside of Alice Springs, you will find many rock paintings scattered all over the rugged terrain. Here is a painting of 'The Three caterpillars', which are of great significance for the Arrernte people there...

There is no denying that Alice Springs and the surrounding areas are nothing short of spectacular! If you ever get the time and chance to visit, do it! You will not be dissapointed :)
