Family Time

September 15, 2014

It is not often enough that we all get together as a family, because distance keeps us apart. But recently that changed...

Andrew and Josh live in Alice Springs and came over to spend time with us.

Now we just love our four children; they are all different and are very talented - as a dad, I am very proud of 'em all...

We spent some time on the Sunshine Coast and it was photo time!

This kid definitely gets his looks from dad:)

Andrew's partner for over 5 years is Jess, and it was great to have her around - they are expecting their first child (don't tell anyone, it is a girl), which will make it grand child number three for us!

Then it was time to go back home and play with Paige and Imogen, our oldest son Ben's girls. We find it increasingly hard to refrain ourselves from excessively kissing and cuddling these two - they are b-e-a-utiful girls! having kids and then grandkids is the most amazing thing in the world. Imogen looks very much like dad when he was little and Paige is Tanya's mini-me.

Is she a cutie or what? It is not often she looks into the camera like this as her dad is a photographer and as soon as the camera comes out, Paige finds something else to do...however, because she wanted to have a wheelburrow ride with me, I bribed her worked.

In my opinion, it does not matter what we have, or dont have; without family around us we have very little. We are looking forward to being all together again soon - we are missing our kids already...

Maybe one last image - this is the area in which we live - I know it is hard but we have to just tough it out...(nah, we LOVE this place)
